Bake Sale Excitement!
Another Successful Bake Sale! We had a great assortment of home made lemon bundt cake, pastries,orange juice, and more! We made a wopping $75.00 at this event!! WOOoo! Here are some pictures of that crazzzyyyy day!
We even gave our leftover food to some homeless people and they gave us mistle toe:) gotta love postive carma!

Today we discussed optional ideas to raise more money:
1. Making cans to put in department stores for donations
2. Having a bake sale in a popular place: park, in front of a store, on a sidewalk
3. Selling Products in popular places. Sell things like: wrist bands, t-shirts, necklaces
4. Have a yard sell of things we dont need anymore
5. Have people donate things they dont want anymore

Cold Water Classic
Team Mads Progress!!!
First Fund Raiser:
Austin, Sara, Ashley, and Melanie went to the cold water classic and sold muffins and coffee saturday morning. We raise $50.36!! woo!! A special thanks to Surf City Coffee for donating the coffee and muffins!
Our next goal is to sell coffee and treats at the farmers market at Cabrillo College

Team Mad Agenda
Date: September 25, 2008
Objective: We are raising money for the people that are less fortunate in Uganda. Our donations will go towards building schools, and donating money to children that need money to go to school.
Book:Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
Requirement for students:
*Discussing fund raising ideas:
+Baskin Robins: On certain days we can get twenty percent during certain hours of the profit that baskin Robin makes to donate towards our cause. We can advertise and hang up posters telling the certain days and time that this event is happening. We get five dollars for every ice cream cake that we make.
+Change Donate Jars: We can set out jars that explain our cause at stores and public places so people can donate and we can collect the jars every week to donate towards our cause.
+Spin the wheel: to raise money we are going to create a wheel for people to spin at cabrillo. They pay money to spin the wheel and win a prize.
+Guess Their age: A game where they pay to guess a persons age and if they get it they win a prize.
+Bake Sale: Bake brownies, cup, cakes, ect. and sell them at a booth and donate to our cause
+Elementry School Fund Raiser: selling baked goods and uganda appareal
+See's Candy: Sell See's candy and make profit
+Wrist Band: Sell the uganda wrist bands on the invisible children website
+Team T-Shirts: Create a design on a t-shirt and sell them
Team Roles:
Ashley: Her mom works at BCE Elementry School and she is going to figure out the time and day we can sell things at that school.
Nicole: Going to keep in touch with Baskin Robins and figure out the days we should advertise for them.
Austin: Is going to check out the deals that we can get to purchase the Uganda bracelets in mass to sell them.
Melanie: Is going to research to see if See's candy can give us some sprt of deal for buying there candy in bulk.
Elizabeth: Is going to look into the t-shirts. Going to check out online deals to creating shirts.
Sara: Going to make money jars and design a catchy label for them to set out at stores
